Ever run an AdWords test and not have a clue whether you can make a decision based on the data you get back? You’re not alone. That’s why we’re sharing this handy statistical relevance calculator that plays nicely with AdWords ad experiments.
To get started, click on the Tab at the bottom that describes your test – do you have 2, 3 or 4 ads? Hopefully you’ve set the ads to rotate so you get a good data set. Then, starting in E4, enter your click and impression data, or your click and conversion data and K4 will go green if you have a dead certain winner. M4 tells you the Confidence Interval – there’s a lot of literature on how to do this but 95%+ is a good place to start.
