Brainlabs’ Jon Molina shares his views on the future of advertising on Reddit

As subreddits and third-party apps continue to go dark in response to Reddit’s proposed API changes, our VP of Paid Social, Jonathan Molina, spoke to Jack Benjamin at The Media Leader all about the impact to advertisers. 

Jon shared his views on the future of advertising on Reddit, examining the impact of the consolidation and its effects on brand strategies, organic and paid campaigns, and the current impact on search.

According to Jon, Reddit is nevertheless a “fascinating” platform from an advertiser perspective because it has untapped potential for reaching certain audiences. “Finding the balance in maintaining user buy-in in what essentially is the last truly ‘democratic’ platform and unlocking revenue is a key development that Brainlabs has been keeping an eye on,” he told The Media Leader.
